Personal Information
My interest in bonsai started in the early 90's, fueled by numerous borrowed library books on the subject matter. I did not finally begin trying to grow and train bonsai until 2011, at which time I was living in China. I collected a number of trees between 2011 and 2014 which I began to train as bonsai before returning home to the United States. Before leaving China, I planted my bonsai trees in the ground, in hopes that one day I would be able to return to collect them and send some of them back to America.

Now that I have returned to the U.S., I am excited about learning more about native tree species and collecting new material to begin working on.
