Boy do I feel you! the more I read...the more I want to just go out and work on my trees. I am also pretty new to Bonsai. This is most defiantly a practice in patients. I'm still going out now and picking a few more "pre bonsai" material to work on for the up coming spring...

I went to your show yesterday....Very nice...sat in for the last part of the Larry White demo...and picked up a few starts from the sales table outside. And was able to enjoy some very nice Trees.

Nice bark and back buds...this is one tree that's on my list to start...

What a great start...I look forward to seeing that forest grow....

I hear you. A nursery down the street has a very small section on "pre Bonsai" material. That's where I picked them up. Plus they had a 30% of sale. There plant quality and selection is much better then my local Home Depot. 4" pots and the most expensive was 5.99....i can live with that... I...

aml1014 i think you could be right!!! I am almost positive i will be one of those 300 plus tree guys in two years...I've even asked a couple of people if they would like to replace one of there Trees (plants) with a "Beautiful new box store plant" so far 50/50....
