I had a Green Island ficus for about a year. it needed some shape but Im not experienced enough to shape it but I was gonna try it this Spring.(HA HA) It did great inside for the winter..has tons of new leaves, very healthy. Well, I put it out a few days ago..something or someone destroyed it...

It seems the transition to outside made the leaves drop. Iwanted to know if the moss would re green.

Its def not a mall tree. They are not glued on. The tree will recover, just put out for the summer..It got a shock but the Moss is what I was asking about..

I purchased a willow leaf tree. I have had it only a few months. It lost 90 % of its leaves but I see it trying to regain new ones. This tree had a very nice, flat, green area of moss on it..Its lost all color..now its brown (not crispy) even with water it wont turn green anymore. I dont know...

Oh, that makes sense..the key is not to over do..This moss hunt may be fun. I seem to like the flat carpet type Ive seen on pots. I should be able to find something..i live in the woods..I dont really recall seeing moss growing in the sun...maybe I wasnt looking..Thank you
