Thanks LanceMac Since I grow indoors exclusively in frigid and dry Chicago weather and ficus 'too little' being a Benjamina cultivar, in my limited experience its very susceptible to die backs. I am always hesitant to trim it back really hard without at least live 3 nodes on the branch. You...

Thanks. It is pocket size .... LOL. Nothing special to keep it alive, dunk in water twice a week and fertilize every other week. Its a mini tokoname pot. Eric

Growing indoors is not impossible. The key is growing the right tree. Ficus are good candidates and very forgiving. I have been growing indoors exclusively for years here in cold Chicago with some success. No "world class tree" but I have grown trees that I'm very proud of. I grow as low tech...

two of my favorites, 'Willow leaf' for smaller bonsai and 'Tiger bark' for larger size trees. Both easy to grow indoors. Hope that helps Eric
