Ok thanks so much! I looked them up and they are considered invasive here too. My wife thought it looked nice and brought me a piece from a limb that had fallen off of the tree. Thinking it would make a decent bonsai. I think I’ll have to pass.

Thanks, I saw that, but could not find any pictures with close ups of the leaves.

Not much of an odor when the leaves are smashed. They are mostly multi trunks, I did see a few that were single and double.

Anyone care to try and identify these little shrubs? I am in Pecos Texas for work and found these in the field. I have only seen the small ones, but driving back to the hotel I think I spotted some bigger ones. I’ll look again tomorrow. I think they are indigenous to the area. Thanks fo looking.

It was planted. I believe there are more around the house. I’ll get some more pics this evening. It was raining yesterday.

Do yaupon holly grow like a tree? Or is it more of a shrub?
