No not inside, but it does need protection from outside winter conditions. If you have an unheated garage that would be best. With these it’s not the cold that gets them, but the cold and wind, that will desiccate them.

I pile the snow on them if we have any, this will slowly water them over time. If there is no snow, I check to see if the surface is dry, then I water. I don't need to do it more than every 2-3 weeks.

Nice little score, I think I have most of these. Keep in mind much of the info in these books are outdated and newer methods/techniques have been developed as our understanding of bonsai has evolved. They are great for inspiration though.

I've had the DVDs for 6 years or so, I'd assume the videos are pushing 8-10 years ago now. I think the question of how the trees from the DVDs have progressed has come up a couple years ago and that Boon no longer has them, but confirmation would be great.
