It's by a company called agrobrite - I cannot find this light online though, I bought it from a private seller on Ebay (which is why i opened up the casing in the first place). If i end up finding it when i have more time to look, I will post a link here.

They were advertised as waterproof - which does not mean anything. However, i opened the casing when i got them and the main electrical area has a rubber seal around it. Additionally, the light fixtures themselves have plastic coverings around the connections. It's not likely they would work...

I'd rather not mount the lights above plastic for 1) plastic+hot lights is not good. 2) the lights would be even higher above the plants (where we possibly might need to care about the distance in intensity calculations). 3)...

@Brian Van Fleet Is that a willow leaf ficus? That's awesome that it's growing so well even without lighting. My two ficus's also do very well. @JoeR I like how simple that is. I may have to use that as a model if I do end up making an enclosure for my indoor plants.

Have you noticed any huge difference without the setup? I do have all my plants in the same location - so some of the transpired moisture should hang around them anyway.

@Redwood Ryan That's exactly what i was going to be worried about. What did you do for air circulation? I am thinking maybe a small computer fan, or other small fan on low through the side of the plastic could work. Also, did you have the whole thing enclosed?
