    Procumbens Juniper Progress

Thanks a million for the virt. advice and encouragement Rob, I think you've brought out an excellent solution. I kept seeing this smaller tree with a huge canopy and was brain-locked on a solution. Any advice on how to handle the foliage on a procumbens?? I keep feeling I'm 2-3 steps behind...

    Procumbens Juniper Progress

Here's a short procumbens progression over about 8 mos. Just a simple garden variety purchased for cheap and its been a very healthy one so far. Who are the BNut moderators?

Vance, Does Will still participate in the bonsai online community? Reason I ask is that I remember reading quite a bit of his work/research on bonsai and he possesses a wealth of information and truly enjoyable reading.

    Nice trunk, little else... suggestions?

Mind you I'm not familiar with the species, but would you be able to work the larger trunk down until it's par with the shorter and then re-make the whole tree from a much larger base?

Really outstanding shimpaku. This is the first time I've seen your threads and your trees and work are excellent. Certainly, you have a great deal to show us; I know I'll learn a great deal as well. Thank you showing your work and for providing your blog; I've been following several of your...
