    long legged beauty.

How would I go about reducing the leaf size? As well as, if I wanted to make the tree shorter... would trimming it at the red lines be too aggressive? ( I'd try and propagate the trimmings....)

I gathered that much from how large the foliage is! Had it been a dwarf variety styling can be considered. I just don't want it to look ...silly!

    long legged beauty.

Or.. not so much ;) haha I've been looking around the web for a few weeks researching the how's and what's of my jade I got last summer. It wasn't happy in the room with a western window, and dropped quite a few of its leaves. And the remaining ones were starting to go soft. So, I moved it to...

    Oh my orchid!

I sure have been active in the tea house lately... But! I have recently come into the ownership of quite a beautiful orchid! I've been reading up on it the past few days and have learned quite a bit. I've already ordered a better plastic pot for it to go in. As the one that's holding all the...

    Tomatoes, tomatoes and... habaneros?

Well these are what I came home with! Tomatoes: brandy masters, Sakura, big beef and sunrise bumble bee As for peppers : chocolate habaneros and apparently.. Ghost peppers. That's actually interesting. I wonder why a little under watering makes a hotter pepper...but! A tip I will try out...

    Should I buy it?

I have such a soft spot for cacti and succulents. But Where on earth did you get your Adeniums? were they local in your area? I've been dying to get my hands on one! But the idea of online sellers still scares me :)

    Should I buy it?

Got her down to 40. Figured since it's a farmers market I could support the old lady. DANG IT. Should have asked her for it! Haha I considered that. I knew it was much too big for bonsai. It may just turn into a lets-try-to-not-kill this plant for me. From what I've read about jades they...

So I went to naturesway bonsai...

I went in for a 101 class cause I clearly had no idea what I was doing.. And with the awesome help of Gary, I came out with a tree! I got to learn all the basics of tools, trimming, repotting, all sorts of care and wiring! Now. This thing by no means is a master piece, I think of it more as a...
