Got my sifter!! NOBODY told me how much of a core work out that was going to be to go through 2 bags of pine nuggets!! Got a nice pile of fines, a bucket of <13mm pieces and a wagon full the larger nuggets. And sexy Popeye arms just in time for Valentines day from all the sifting!

I got one of those spinny turn tables! Still have not sifted the soil components.......Soon.

We, the untalented do not have this problem. Trees so ugly, robbers drop off plants out of sympathy.

I'll give you the newbie perspective. The stick in pots look cool. To the untrained eye, they look great. You have been looking at amazing trees for a decade. The simple stick has beauty too.

What started with me ordering 10 of these sprayers based on your suggestion cost me $85 in the end at drip depot. What a great company. Wound up ordering low voltage wire for landscaping lighting as well.

Being a total newb, I have just been using plumbers putty. Because cheap and is what I have. I like to pretend everything the putty contains is inert.

Bonsai to me seems like a chess match that you inevitably lose.
