The females are small and brown... no flashy fins or exciting colors. I kept beta for a little while, and the few times I tried to introduce females the males quickly killed them. It can be difficult to keep them together.

Actually, I've never had another dog that loved the snow as much as Danger does. She's just not happy I made her sit still for 10 seconds to take a picture. She'll run around in the yard for an hour, and when I *make* her come in out of the cold, she just sits by the door/window wanting to go...
