Use a cleaning stone/pad I use a cleaning stone and water to remove hard water spots from my pots. A fine grit usually works perfectly. Follow-up with something as simple as baby oil and the pots look like new.

Not tried to make the tall carved root stand..... yet Finding good carved root stands can be difficult and expensive, that is why I started making my own. So far I have not done the tall ones but something to try later. Love working with the different woods - Spanish Cedar, Sapele, Mahagony...
