Finally got a camera to take some pics, there from a crappy camera phone but still something for now. I bought this juniper about 3 weeks ago and dont know what kind it is, any ideas? Does it look healthy to you guys? Its got a bit of browning in the scales and where the buds meet the trunk...

Its now October where im located so I wont be doing any pruning til Spring, but I would like to get an understanding of it now. Can you guys tell me how to prune properly?
