Is there a good way to fix the taper in the trunk? There was a high root attached to that part of the trunk and I guess created the taper. Should I just cut/carve or let it grow? Thanks for all the help

Would it be better to put it in a larger pot and let it grow out for a few years? Is it okay to prune it now or should I wait until next spring to do it? Any tips on pruning and caring for it?

I just got this Hinoki from Brussel’s Bonsai. I was expecting more of a single trunk and got this one. I don’t know how to style it with 2 trunks. Should I cut the other trunk or just keep it?

I repotted it 2 months ago. It's in shade right now.

So its been 2 months and the tips of the foliage are turning brown on the apex. I scratched the bark and its still green under. Whats happening to it? What should I do?

I don't have cut paste. Is there anything I could use that could act like cut paste? There's still some bark behind the apex. Hopefully that branch will survive.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll remember next time. I guess I'll just remove the whole bark on that branch now. Any advice on what else to prune/do on the tree?
