PG Thanks clyde; I used to grow catus alot and i used miracal grow for violets and they would go nuts in the stuff; may try it on the maple. thanks again!! Im also on facebook under michael west say hi sometime!

purple ghost plus i live in town and the city trys to keep any lots sprayed and cut down so ill have to try the large pot first ill keep you guys informed on how she does thanks again

purple ghost thanks for the advice; im going to take your suggestion and put her in a large pot first to try to fatten her up ; any other tips would help me alot! thanks for everyones help!:D

thankyou thanks for the responses! ive got a 6-12" start coming in the mail, going to join the local bonsai club you guys suggested to try to learn everything i can plus taking advice from you guys i may get a nice bonsai out of it! thanks spider :)
