Yea it is, right once it runs into the soil it levels out and runs all the way back around. Almost completes one whole circle. That's the only root for this ficus.

Was just wondering, I noticed about all the buds are still there and look fine to me.

I pruned the roots 4 days ago and I put it in a 10gal pot. Using black cinder and organic compost. The leaves have started falling off now. Is this just shock?

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. I'm guessing the tree is 1-2years old (assuming) i have it potted in regular potting mix. does this type get any aerials later on?

Hello everyone, new here just purchased a tree yesterday. I do have one question to get me started. I was told the tree was a ficus, but I'm not able to find which species of ficus it is. Can anyone tell me?
