    Modern home made stand

I like this, how is it working out? Did you think of trying some base material for the trees to sit on that wouldn't block the sun for the tree under it? I ask because after making my outside stand I thought the space may have been utilized better if I could have used a solid mesh of some...

    Malta's Exibition 2009

Some really nice trees. I like how there was a variety of quality, not just the big prize winners. It also showed several different influences. Thanks

Let take a test of your knowledge

I was thinking borers as well but have limited experience with them..knock on wood... From my experience they already had the candle drilled out long before the needles were ready to move and therefor they didn't or moved in little sections. If this is a borer attack they are far less efficient...

    Cool Malaysian bonsai gallery

Really nice trees. That Tree in the TV caught me off guard =-) Wasn't that a 70's thing? to place an object in a TV? Anyways it looked great. It's to bad the pics are numbered instead of named for which species the tree is.

Twist her up Rob =-) Give it a few little bends then start some of that shari work we learned about this spring. I'ld like to see what Mario would advise. :D Something I've learned about the advice from our nursery owner. You can follow it and have your tree on it's way to the next level...

A little about me...A little about you...

I had somewhat of a similar experience. Moving along year to year on books and browsing old forums. It wasn't until I took the trips down and had a few classes where I could interact with people knowledgable about bonsai that I finally made some progress. I have tried several species only to...

    shohin satsuki

Class time :) Here is a link that explains it all. http://urbanext.illinois.edu/gpe/case4/c4facts1a.html When the flower petal falls off you will notice a little white stigma remains. It makes it easier to find where all those flowers were. Just follow it down and snip the little...
