Not really. I just got a memory from five years ago finding first one. I have found them in March before. Usually done here by Mothers day. It is a water hog. I often set it in the pond.
My Wisteria is finally going to flower I think. Had it for 8-10 years and never bloomed. These huge buds must be flower buds right? I had read it could take 10-15yrs to bloom. Correct?
I get it can relate it to my dragbike racing days. I designed and built everything myself because you couldn't buy that stuff back then and what you could buy I couldn't afford.
Then the aftermarket companies made it all available to anyone w/cash. People w/no skills showed up with "catalog...

The clear sticky substance is probably honeydew secreted by one of several insects. Start with a close look at the stems, undersides of the leaves and the place where the leaf stem (petiole) joins the plant stem. Check for brown bumps that can be scraped off with your finger.
Spent the day cleaning up and digging my trees out of storage from winter. Just back from Florida so a little late maybe, a couple casualties I think.
Drained the swamp again, put the tops back on the benches and enjoyed the sunshine:)

Also good on you for Red Crossin it. They would put our people up in hotels and provide clothing ect for families loosing their homes.
Salvation Army has always been amazing to us as well.
Took a couple Tropicals w/me to Florida so they don't suffer the same fate as many of my favorites did this fall, while counting on my neighbor's watering.
