Steve would love any help with promotion for this event. I have submitted it to a number of local "event" web sites, as well as Charlotte news (WBTV). If anyone can think of another site where you can add information about the event, please do so!

I do too Carol.😘 Is there any bonsai events in your neck of the woods? I have a whole gallon of delicious purple glaze.😇
The closest is probably in Chicago, which is a good 5 hours away. Gee, who could resist a delicious purple glaze? ;)

Looks like I’m going to miss this year, I was looking forward meeting some of you guys. It sucks because this is the only show I get to go to, but there is a potters show in my town this weekend for me to pick people’s brains on pots.

Is that pottery show in Seagrove?

That's too bad. There are two days in a weekend though. You will not find bonsai at your pottery show like you would at THE WINTER SILHOUETTE BONSAI EXHIBITION.

Anyone with even a modicum of interest in ceramics must see Seagrove. When I was there a few years back I visited over 20 different studios.
But this is about THE WINTER SILHOUETTE BONSAI EXHIBITION, so I apologize from my intrusion.
🤣:rolleyes::cool::oops:;)😇

No it’s not seagrove, but I would love to go there one day. I agree I’m going to miss out on some good trees and vendors, but family first. I got to meet @Pitoon last year and was hoping to meet more, hopefully next year. I hate that the NC arboretum is not doing it anymore, now I have to wait a whole year. Maybe I should start a show in my town, haha.

Its the same venue/setup that the US Nat'l Shohin show was at. 2(and a half?) large rooms of vendors and demo/presentation space. The display is the best in the region (with some national show trees in attendance) and the vending area's usually got lots of great trees available ...at least early. Its worth the <3 hr drive for me.
