Pomegranate

I dug this tree out of the ground a year ago. It's about ten inches tall. The first photo is from four years ago when the tree was first purchased.

I have had trouble with my pomegranates dropping branches after they are wired.... any tips there?

That's odd. I haven't had that problem. I usually only wire the small green branches and do a lot of clip and grow.

I clip a lot too, but then they get more linear than I like, and tend to grow "out and up," but not "down or around"... but the die-back I speak of is on older wood, so maybe I will stop putting wire on the older stuff.
