Looking for any advice on shaping or direction to take this Fukien Tea.
I have ideas but with little to work with an error could mess up the whole thing.

Sorry for the picture quality. I can't seem to figure out the whole lighting/back drop thing to get good clear pictures of the branching.
Lol advise on bonsai photography would be nice also!
Thanks everyone!!

I like the last picture in your first set of pictures as the front. You'll just need to work on getting a bud or two to pop on that lower right side.

Thanks Stacy.
I want to keep is shohin size so I don't want it growing taller though I just might let it to see what becomes of it. I guess I should have been more specific with what to do with the two top branches. They both come off the top of the trunk and cross in front of one another. Should I remove one so more energy is focused into one branch instead of two. And if so which do I remove.

Ryan as for lower branching this will happen easily. I have been cutting off all the lower growth to push energy up. It will shoot a branch out the side and bee 6 inches long in a week lol. This thing just LOVES my enclosure. It's grown more in 2 weeks inside then it has the whole summer outside.

Kevster, looks like you've got a nice start going on, the ratio is looking good, I think I'd go with Stacy's advice. Then you'll have so much to work with, you'll really have trouble! Really, then the tree will maybe show you the way...
It actually has a nice start for a broom style, don't think I've seen a fukien broom...

Ugh..... Lol.
That damn scar. I did a little hollowing on it removing the rotten wood to try and help it heal. I can say since then it has rolled in a little bit around the edges. But that scar will be there for a long time and the wood probably will keep rotting away.

That chop scar in a dead spot that ran the length of the trunk. I know this because what I have pictured here is the top portion of the tree I air layered off. The tree was 2 inches taller but had very bad reverse taper below this point.

Maybe in time I can incorporate the hollow into the design somehow.

Thanks Stacy. For now since I don't know what to do the best thing is to do nothing.
