Ignore-Amus
On The 28th of March, My wife went to work for the last day forever. I have no idea what retirement must feel like but I would sure like to know!
That being said, for the last two years I have been scouring the countryside for material to stash away for my own retirement. Of course that will be very hard to do with the loss of income from my wifes salary, so, buy now and enjoy later.
Between digging material from the field at Steves place, and trading some stands for them, digging the pyracantha from the commercial business and buying this one last piece of material from my friend George, I feel like I have enough to keep be busy for quite some time.
In fact getting canopies on them to suit my taste may take longer than I have left on earth.
Anyway, I called George Muranaka on Tuesday to let him know I would be over. He was having some issues with a family member and possibly the hospital, so he may not be home Saturday.
Dang it, just my luck. I'm going and he's not home.
He sends me an email on my blog Thursday that he will indeed be home on Saturday so I can come on over and look around. I get there around 10AM and start to look for the tree I have come over for. I find two that I have never seen before but they are just not exactly what I am looking for. I ask him about two I saw before on another trip. He said that he was going to keep one but that I can have a look at the other. Both trees were not in the nursery but over around his home out of sight of customers.
We came to an agreement on the price and I was on my way with another project. Probably a project with the most potential I have ever owned.
18 inches tall and a 3.25 inch trunk at the waist.
