I have, but I would probably just prefer to keep the area humid. It should pop them either way.

Tonight I set out to see what I can do with these roots:

So I pulled out the power drill, and drilled some small holes into the thick roots:

Made it snow with rooting hormone:

Covered with sphagnum moss:

Then wrapped in plastic:
