I have not been able to attach pics for days now. I must use web-hosted photo sites instead.
Here are a few I took just before putting these to bed for the winter.

Yesterday, I was attaching a sketch about 36Kb and I got a message that it is too big  and need to be 16Kb or less.

Later on, I managed to attach a much bigger file photo. Maybe just hiccups and part of the maintenance.

Three European beeches, Fagus sylvatica and one Japanese beech, Fagus crenata, from my collection.

I'm glad you like them Judy! I love both as well. I was very pleasantly surprised by the pot. I liked it in the pictures but even more when it showed up. (Same with the tree! :)) This is what Bill said about it on the listing: "Old Tokoname-ware Japanese container"

Thanks Dave! I found this little guy very inspiring as well. I'm looking forward to what you create/d out of the inspiration!

Here's a quick shot I took of my newest addition today. Chojubai Quince (red)

Very nice chojubai (I am jealous actually  -- beware, I am coveting your chojubai! )...and yes nice pot too. :)

LOL!!! It's taken me quite a while to find one! I've seen Bill V. post them before as they were going up for sale and every time I contacted him I was just barely too late. This time I saw that he had posted three of them the night before and I sent an email, (knowing I was too late) but he actually still had this one! I snapped it up, and he told me there was another inquiry right after I'd paid. (whew... nothing like a bonsai buying rush...lol )

Nice trees Lordy, Dan, and Walter!
Dan, eager to see that Chojubai in bloom against that beautiful blue pot.
Here's an ume loaded with anticipation, and the hawthorn.

Very cool canopy on that beast Vince. Is the trunk color difference due to the dark part being wet? Perhaps that is what happens when it expands and cracks open? I like the tree and bet it looks great with a full canopy too. Thanks for showing it.

Lordy,

Yes, the picture was taken right after I watered the plant (once a week now) and the parts that looked dark are those received water. You can also see water drops on the pot

Thanks, Vince
