What do you think of my new Accent Piece? My old John Deere has seen better days so I had to buy a new one. Well that's what I told the wife ;)

...and it cuts the grass pretty good to.

Nice place you have there...we ended up doing a huge water feature in the backyard...and doing hardscape. Which...took up much of our lawn. (Which I think was my husbands plan since we have community association property right off our drive. That...someone else mows.)

I used to have flower beds everywhere but got rid of them all because they took too long to weed. It's much easier to sit on the mower and go round and round.

You have a couple decent japanese maples in the ground. Is the green tree in background in pic 3 of third set a japanese maple? Okoshino?

Good work. Are they difficult to grow there? They need pampering in texas.

Thanks! I never had the JM IDed. I've had it in the ground for about twelve years now.

It looks like it has dissected leaves but it's not mounding mushroom shaped so my best guess is Acer palmatum 'seiryu'.
