Can't believe I forgot to say where I got it. Schelys bonsai in Florida is the grower. I don't have anything currently with this much movement. I'm hoping it will inspire me with my other trees.
He has a facebook page with lots of pics. Here was one image from the website.
I would like one like that too.

Nice! Curvy is a good analogy but not the first thing that came to my mind when I first started reading your post  Looks like it will be a fun one to own with plenty of inspiration.

I was wondering why Shotguns went in tropicals.
Then I was a bit disappointed.
Then I was delighted again!

Here it is. It's a little different than what I expected but it's ok.
It looks like it's been beat to hell. My trees are little primadonnas compared to this one. It's very rugged and it has battle scars. The leaves are very limp. I'm hoping that's just shipping stress.
I'm pretty sure it will bounce back fine.

I LOVE IT! What does the base of the tree in the substrate look like? I also would love a few angles of it slightly turned clockwise and counter clockwise. If you get time. Love the pot as well...what size is it?

I am losing quite a few leaves already.
I don't know what kind of pot it is? No marks. I have an I phone so I don't know how to add multiple pics but I have taken a lot and I will post them all here.

I have a galaxy and you just keep hitting upload file for it...same as my iPad. Looking forward to seeing them. I love scars they add character. though surely it's only shipping stress I would imagine. Jason has good material so I've heard.

Yeah I've ordered from him before so I feel comfortable with it.

There is what appears to be a second branch or root along the bottom. It is strange though because it comes out of the main trunk and goes back into the main trunk. I have never seen this.

It's like he has rubbed this tree with rust and dirt and grime and cracked the bark all over the tree. It looks like its been through a garbage disposal then sent through a meat grinder. -cool.

This is certainly a one of a kind thing. I do hope that the old wiring isn't going to cause more damage when you take it off, although at least ficus can pretty much survive anything but root rot. I like the shape and the base, the vein on the bottom of the truck is cool. I would get my toothbrush out and get that cleaned up a bit. I think I'd also make sure the wire isn't cutting in anywhere, and get it off soon.
Neat tree.
