Those are the exact ones I get at my local dollar store. For $1.00 each. They last a few seasons too. Hope you get some leads on where to order them.

I did a bunch of dollar store, Walmart and other cheap retailer, nope, nada, nothing that even look close to that.
May be one day we could make a deal: I paypal you the $ for a massive buy and shipping ;)

15 collanders were the most they had once before. I bought them all. I'll go see if I can get a manufacturers name.
Be back with that in a bit.

I love you all and I ain't trying to claim genius.....well....lol.....but seriously.......

These things are very limiting. Size. Durability. Shape. Wobble factor.

This http://www.bonsainut.com/index.php?threads/those-pot-materials.18202/

Is killing for me. You can bend it on itself and zip tie it and plant. Bend a bottom to staple onto ply, create your own shape.
Forever bottom screen too!

@Alain I can bring you some today if you want. A whole pot or 2 even.

@M. Frary I'll be sending you some in time for collecting season.

There is information on purchasing it at that link.
They also sell sifters, bug netting, and other cool stuff. Sleeves to protect tools, be creative.....

If I can afford it.........

Here's the roots!20150815_175815.jpg

Use the rounded side in. Flat out.

Would that work? The holes seem somewhat larger, but depending on your medium, they should do fine I'd think? I havn't ordered from them before, but I've been meaning to.

Just ordered 12 of the "(PLWB005) - 8" Plastic Wash Basket" for $1.09 each. Shipping was $19 though which I thought was a little high. Nonetheless, compared to everything else I could see it's still a good deal. I have 24 1.5 year old JBP going into them in February.

Try your local Chinese restaurant. I picked up a few a while back from a place down the road. They had a stack of them with a tag that said $1 each. I should have got all they had. I've also been told they can be found at Asian supermarkets if you have any in your area.

Another source is Tiger Chef. I've never purchased from them but they have a good range of sizes.
