I'll join! Prob cant tell but amongst those there weeds lies a Yatsabusa. Bought it from Judy. Prob 1/2 thick trunk. Started showing some cork-y-ness. Plan is to ground grow for several years. It has been raining like crazy the past few weeks hence the frog togs and soaked appearance

There are so many faces.
So many personalities.

Honestly, I think Bonsai
Is shared by the more different types of people than any other hobby.

Cultures, Climates, ages, etc.

Is it already hoodie weather up there? Here's another submission. I have a thread on this one. It didn't do all that well this year. It got black spot and it took me a while to get that cured and the bottom branch has been weak all year. It was in a really shallow pot that I thought was contributing to the issues, so I slip potted it into this deeper pot a couple months back. I need some more branches, especially on the left, and I'm considering a thread graft, or cutting it back hard this winter and hoping something pops on the trunk next spring.

I like the watch it looks a little like a seiko diver i have, the blue sumo

It is a Seiko diver, but I don't think it is the Blue Sumo. The face is black, I bought it years ago. I don't dive, but I am incredibly tough on watches and have ruined many fishing (salt water), swimming, and just general use. This is the only one that has stood up to the torture.

I haven't decided yet, gonna want until this winter when it doesn't have any leaves to see what I have. I might post it again and see what everyone thinks.

Nice one Mike, I think you should grow an mullet, lol. I have an American elm, the leaves are huge, do you find that they reduce well?

John

I find they reduce down very well. Just from continually cutting them back. Just like chinese elm the more twigs you make them have the smaller the leaves get.
The chance of me growing a mullet are long gone. The closest thing I could come up with is something that looks like Hulk Hogan hairdo.
