Reminds me of a cactus out in the desert. The pot is great too.

Not really a tree form but I'm enjoying IT.

I am hoping a fat short 5 branch Burning Bush I have back buds and fills in exactly like that honest! I have a rather unusual topiary in mind - just me but I agree that is a cool little plant! Rather nice pot - I presume it is one of yours?

Euonymus japonica "Dr Rokujo variegated". Got it from Mulberry Creek....really interesting stuff. I thought it needed a variegated pot of complimentary color. This is the second year I've had it and I'm still tryin' to figure out its growth habit. Doesn't drop its leaves even though its kept in a dark unheated garage

Mulberry Creek no longer ships any plants or products. Searching Google I found several listings for this at arboretums, etc. but only one nursery. Oriental Garden Supply in NY. Anyone dealt with them before?

Mulberry Creek doesn't ship?? They have an extensive catalog. That's too bad. I got a full moon maple from Oriental Gardens this spring.....so far so good...unless we have another crazy cold winter. It's in the ground. Both places are within driving distance for me.

Oriental Garden Supply has a good reputation in the area (Rochester NY region). I've been there once, LOTS of plants of all kinds, some very interesting stuff. They supply Japanese maples to other local nurseries. Overall, prices seem consistent with other decent nurseries in the area. Since they are so close, I've never had anything shipped.

Mulberry Creek was a vendor at the most recent National Exhibition. Really interesting collection of unusual plants, mostly small and cheap. I hope they are planning to come back next year. Maybe they vend at some of the other bonsai shows in the midwestern region? Give them a call and ask.

Here's another Mulberry Creek plant. The trumpet vine that won't invade your yard.

Begonia...... The bulb is already pushing the soil out of the pot. This spring it it was a 2.5" bulb in a 7" pot. It will outgrow the pot this growing season.

Putatoria.... from post #9. Root pot with hole similar to a orchid pot. It might take some time to grow into it.
