Nice. What oil did you use for the pot?
I couldn't find my nut sack:eek::eek:... so I went with mineral oil. In all seriousness, I've used mineral oil in the past and like it a lot. I've been periodically oiling all of my pots with wd-40, but grabbed the mineral oil to paint on the bark. I decided to oil the pot today since I had it.

Almost/////?! do I have to marry a relative to get in?
That won't qualify ya. Everybody does that!

Lessee... We used the tailgate of a pickup as a display bench, a garbage lid as a work table, made a bonsai pot out of duct tape...

I can't speak for rednecks but I understand the Australian version 'bogan' is quite similar. In any case, you should use a beer can as an accent. Preferably something cheap, nasty, and brewed locally to show your patriotism. Maybe the American flag for a scroll, too?
In all seriousness @Dav4 its a VERY nice tree, the deadwood in particular. Tree oozes with flow:cool:
