I like this thread gives new drinking ideas :). First time I bought an IPA it's local brew (supposedly) and not bad. Well some reason picture is not loading. Broke ass internet or dumb phone. Brb

Japanese Quince "Contorted Salmon Pink" almost as wide as the Leaf, yet the trunk is still only 1/2" wide. Not really that wide, it's only about 2.5 feet. Guess it's the beer goggles.

Tripel or Trappist, it's still brewed by monks though right.

Well, I thought our Belgian friends would be the first to reply ;)

Wow! You can get Westmall across the Atlantic? I'm flabbergasted ;)

Sure can bring a cool, tasty moment when the sun goes down in your country that I suppose to be very hot.

@M. Frary - I don't drink anymore, well, maybe one every month or two. I keep some nice beer around for friends. I love the taste, but "medication" suggests I don't drink unless I hand my car keys to someone who won't give them back until the next day. ;)
I've had my "send lawyers, guns and money" weekends back in the day. My phone list includes a lawyer for traffic, a lawyer for criminal, and a lawyer for the IRS. Their job is not to tell me what not to do, but to get me out of what I did do.
Haven't had to use them in a while, plan on keeping it that way.

Yata No Sai and Bell's Oberon, A refreshing summer wheat ale, that is not overly potent or overly hoppy. Nice balance. In cooler weather, Bell's 2 Hearted Ale is my favorite. If I drink, I want a nice beer.

Beer isn't opened, I still have my car keys in my pocket.

Cork bark JBP, it does have cork the first inch or two of trunk. Just coming back from its 2015 near death experience. I find "corkers" the most touchy of pines for bonsai. I've killed a bunch of them over the years. Usually I know what I did to kill it, sometimes I don't. Had this one over 7 years. So far so good.

Ponderosa bought from Andy Smith, Goldenarrow, this May 2016 at the Grand Rapids ABS show. It is probably 75 years old, and has a cool 2 directional root base. It will be a challenge to make this into an acceptable bonsai, it will be different. No styling for another year or two, it was collected in spring of 2014 and has not had much new growth yet. Once it gets rolling, with vigor, only then will I mess with it.

I'm not at all picky about beers
That's sort of redundant. :)
Interesting tree that live oak. Brought some seeds back from Las Vegas but forgot to plant them for 2 years and when I did they didn't sprout. Ha, on me.
