You know that feeling... That tree/s you go out your way to see again and again whenever you travel their way. It makes you stop and reach for the camera . It awakes all the emotions while you view it...awe, inspiration, respect, admiration etc etc...
Please show your tree/s that speaks to you...:) I have quite a few. Will show them as we go...

This is my absolute favourite. Its nothing impressively special as far as bulk or stature goes, but its has the sleek, elegant, natural lines that I find fascinating. Just something about it that keeps me going back to it. Here it is with its leaves on...

And today without its leaves

Frustrating how they never look as good on the photo...but hell, its all I got :(

One of my favorite trees. It is on your national flag. Also, one of my favorite flags. Wish you could ship me one.

They're hard to find and this gentleman is very reputable if you're interested inpicking one up.

LoL..that the reason you have this.... "(the beauty of empty space)" in your profile? Surely there must be something that inspires you somewhere...? on the horizon or the neighbouring states...seems you can see far there :D

There are a few large American elms left here and there but almost all the trees here are really uninspiring. They're young and straight. There are also justa few white pine over 200 years that didn't get cut down in the 1860s.
