Normal to get browning on BC now?

Here are a couple pictures, but based on the feedback it sounds like this is pretty normal. I wonder if Hurricane Matthew and the winds might have exacerbated things as well.

Normal and I might add unpredictable. There are 4 on the grow shelf here and one is still green, another mostly lime, and two browning up.

Good observation. You never know when a BC will put on color, but it's really nice when they do. In fact, some of them are just stunning. Unfortunately for me, when I get color here it lasts only a short time at best.

It's hard to tell but this looks like something else as the leaves should just turn and it usually a golden brown to then just brown and fall off. The stems appear to be turning a dried out brown too. Do you have a regular treatment plan for your tree's? I could be wrong but I'm in VB and mine hasn't even started turning yet. They're very tough so you should be ok, but you may want to to get your hands on a mild fungicide

These change slowly and last a few weeks. I do however keep them in water until leaf drop regardless of weather.

Or beef up the watering, just another thought. Mine have wet feet until the last leaf falls off and they act as you describe as seen in my pictures.
