I don't have a tree to graft on at this point, I may look for a whip of a yellow to start. Thanks for the generous offer, have a great Thanksgiving, we have so much to be thankful for.

Talking about the crabapple, I have 2 crabapple prebonsai with deep cut leaves. The leaves are almost similar to maple. The previous owner told me they were " Miyama kaido", but I don't think so. I think this kind of crabapple has yellow fruit at the seller's garden. They did not give me any flower yet!

I saw a photo of one with yellow fruit, but the description said red, so not sure about that one.

Here's one I plan to dig in spring, been watching it for 2 years, it will be a large one. There are quite a few more in this same area, tons of red ones too.

That pear color is very nice. One day I'll have to airlayer one of my old pear trees.
