My wife got over it pretty quickly and I knew that once I saw her out in the cold frame checking it out:)

Too funny :D. I've been itching to buy a large trident maple this year but I bought a deshojo maple from Mr. W. Valavanis earlier this year and I told her that was the last one until next year. The hardest part is that I think I only live a couple hours from Don and I know if I took a trip up there I would be in the dog house for a while.:eek:;)

Well, I can tell you with certainty that he has several of what you're looking for to choose from:) If I lived that close to Don I'd probably be living in a tent on his property lol....

You have to get her at the emotional level. There are different ways. I show my wife a picture of a nice fruiting bonsai if that's what I'd like. A nice fall image of a maple if that's the next purchase. Once she's sold on it, make the purchase before she changes her mind.
