No, not a songtitle of Tom Petty & Heartbreakers.
More likely a Prunus Serotina.
I collected this paticular species because of the nice blossom-risps in spring.
Hopefully I will be able to show you some of these next year.
Prunus Serotina is a so called neophyt to a german (european) habitat.
The origin of this species is North America.
Because of her vigour of vegetation and the strong urge to gain for light,
P. Serotina had managed to suppress P. Padus, the original inhabitant.
The tree is almost as high as wide as deep.
Well, a lot of carving-work to do ...
And again ugly and rediculous at that stage. We will see ...
