Hi folks, ive been working on this little Privet since jan 2015, it spent a little time in the ground after i got it and yest i dug it up, today i styled it properly. i wasnt too happy with it, but after the styling today its already growing on me again...

It didnt grow that well in the air basket, might of got too dry at one point

There is a skull in the base, it wasnt intended, only noticed after i'd completed the Uro's which were the result of unwanted stumps being removed. removing the low stump you see in the first images has improved the taper and enhanced more of the sumo trunk

These grow like weeds, it will fill back out in no time, the tree was defoliated to enable proper styling btw...

Wonderful looking tree. I'm really surprised it didn't do well in the pond basket. I have a similar sized tree in a pond basket collected last year and it has completely filled the basket with roots. They do require a lot more water though because of all the drainage.
