Yah. Me too!I am very pleased with the combination.
I'm pretty sure that it is a typo, BUT ...NOICE!
I happen to have to agree with Sergio on that one. It's a stunning pairing! It's a Shuho pot, I was a little worried about the fancy feet, but Sergio was not, and I took his advice on that. It's got a silky look to the glaze, and it's a counter point to the feminine yet rugged tree.

NO ICE = neat!
Cool comment about JudyB's jimbeam
Serendipity or do you deserve severe pun-ishment?
I will take some photos today with a different background, and show you around...
The previous pot was certainly keeping the tree "in bounds", but it was starting to compromise the health of the tree. Before I had it shipped, it was suggested that the tree had been thru a rough patch and was in need of watching carefully. As I know my way around KH, I was not concerned after speaking to the seller about the condition of the tree. I think this pot is a good shape and size and feel. I really like the color, can't go wrong with that color.I like the new combination from a horticultural standpoint. The previous pot seemed a bit restrictive, perhaps the tree could use a few seasons "stretching it's toes"? Not that restricting the growth somewhat on a specimen at this level of refinement is so bad. I wonder if the growth will be a bit more exuberant than you would like? Would you use bud pinching as the leaves emerge to control growth? I would worry about vigorous growth swelling the small twigging that looks very nice....hate to see that get out of proportion.
I appreciate the sharp lines this pot has. As well as re-affirming a more "masculine" stance to the tree where I felt the previous pairing was too ambiguous visually. I believe the current pairing enhances the lower trunk markedly. Personal tastes are what they are. The feet are good, classy but not too showy.
The top of the tree may say "Giuseppe Zanotti" but the base barks "Chippewa"
Here is the obligatory, "great tree" comment... When you swap out a third of your collection for it, it better be!!!
