Not yet. but there are buds. Most of my others are blooming including the one you helped me with 4 years ago. The trunk of that one is my Avatar by the way.
Flower from my Avatar. It has a pink hue to it and is a very pretty flower.

One more look at this one before it gets some work. I have a thread for it, but can't find it.

Clean up, repot, and a little wire, well a lot of wire. I also removed the lower limb because I thought that it was too low on the trunk.

That red is so nice!
I have a little Girards Crimson that I'll finally see the color of this year.... Can't wait! I'm hoping for a deep but vibrant red.
From what I read though, I probably gets it's name from the fall foliage color more than the bloom.

PLUM2.jpg I thought I would take a couple pictures of the plum tree in the yard in bloom, since it won't last long. Tomorrow is supposed to be 72, but Saturday the high is supposed to be in the 30's, with snow. The forecast does not bode well for the pear, cherry, or crab apple, also in the yard.:eek:PLUM.jpg

Toyo on S. facing window the past couple days starting to open up. I love the simple beauty of these flowers a lot.

Anybody else seeing especially early blooms on Satsuki Azaleas? I have a Gumpo with a bloom opened and a Miyuki with a couple blooms opened already... Many more look close to busting too- Normal bloom time for them is MAY! Also, many of my Kurume are kicking into high gear which isn't so odd... but a couple weeks earlier than normal maybe. The craziest thing was, mid March and we got SNOW IN SC!?... like the most we had all winter on sunday! I have a pic somewhere on my phone of one of my Kurume covered in blooms, and then covered in snow... I know this may not be terribly odd to people further North but I don't ever recall snow on opened azalea blooms here in SC before!

@Eric Group it really does seem like this year is the most mixed up. I left my house Tuesday morning with no snow, got home Tonight, and after shovelling I have an 8' snowbanks! Also in the cold room my azalea and Nanking cherry are both ready to bloom.

A Kojo-no Mai in a big pot. The tree is about 3 ft tall and 3.5 ft wide (bgrd: branches of an Acer palmatum and flowering Japanese quince):

A Prunus serrulata 'Accolade'. A root cutting made in 2012, left in the ground until last year. The trunk is still very thin (hence the stake) but it's now 6 ft tall!

Ribes sanguineum (red-flowering currant). I must try to do smthg with this species one day:

The myuki you sent me has one open flower, a couple of chinzans have random flowers, along with wakaebisu. My kurumes have been done for a couple of weeks.
