Satsukis are starting to come on strong

They looked even better in person that day :) Still kiciking myself for hauling around the camera and not using it :( Surely road fatigue but worth every moment!

OK here's my Story...
Driving thru my Condo Complex the other day and spotted these 3 Rhododendrums laying out on the driveway waiting for the garbage man, the Root balls still configured to the original container size & shape..., needless to say I snatched them up, I later found out that the Lady that had them just Tired of them and decided she needed a change ....
I placed them in some pots and have scattered them around the Patio, all have nice looking Flower Buds and good looking leaves trunks although some blackish looking spots on the leaves...
I would like some comment/opinions on them from the experts here.
Will they survive from being jerked out of their Patio pots...?
Will they Flower...?
Can anyone tell me what the Culture is ...?
Next year if they survive I would like to Chop them down to about 12" and ReStyle them...they are presently appx. 24"W x 24"H with many Branches, Trunks....

1)If you keep them damp, not wet and out of direct sun they should recover.
2)The abundance of buds seems to indicate flowering is in the near future.
3)No way to tell without a good picture of a full bloom and leaf what they are - just to many variations.
3)I would apply an anti-fungal(any for garden flora) as I am guessing that is the black spots I see. I use a granular that is a 3 way systemic for all new plants either way. I am not at home but the same one for roses works well.

Love me some Lilacs! That is one of the biggest things I miss about Colorado.

I only lived there for a couple years, but never saw any!!!!:mad::D:D:D:D:D:D
If there is one smell from my youth that always turns my head these days, it's Lilac blossoms!! Has to be the "cleanest, freshest" smell on Earth!!!:):):):)
Plenty around New Hampshire, even now. Love it!!!!
