There's another good address not so far from the Spanish border. I ordered my Acer discolor from them:

More seeds!
The Chinese elm just started sprouting and they're germination rate is pretty good so far.

The same goes for the Japanese larch.

I also tossed some extra JBP seeds in a pot outside. After being outside and not sprouting up I brought them inside. After a few days indoors...

Unfortunately the Japanese quince had 0% germination. They were given plenty of time. Only 3 of the redleaf Japanese maples sprouted. 2 of which have red leaves and all of which seem to have a leaf deformity where each leaf is different and asymmetrical. I planted tamarind seeds a few days ago and the zelkova are nearly done stratifying. After the zelkova that's it on tree seeds this year. I've got Japanese snowbell seeds and amur maple which will be for next year with their long stratification process.

But they are in random unmarked places.

Got this English Oak project last October end of season sale. Got home and was about to step out the car and saw an acorn on the passenger seat :D! Lucky one that hid from them critters!

Water test reveals it's alive. Put it inside a moisten sphagnum ball and into a zip lock bag. Then into the fridge it goes set at 34. Checked on it 5 weeks later and the root popped out! As it stands now, my first seedling as an adult :)

Well they are Hawthorn I got sprouting!

No less than 20, all in rather random places, but a couple right in the grow bed!

I think I'll lift and root prune a couple each month for the next couple.

Still waiting to ID the Burning Bush seedlings....haven't seen any IDable yet...
May have dug em as "weeds"!
