That helpsOn a side note phylloxa or root aphids do not normally exhibit cornicles or produce honeydew like their cousins normally found higher in the plant however phylloxa may be found crawling around anywhere and can be severely damaging to plant roots. They are usually darker colored than pictures though. Just a little more aphid info lol.hope it helped

Possibly. But the online pics show them to be under a more cottony mass. For fun here are some pics from one of my JBP that had them. The images are 10x and 30x zoom. Note the white material and the black frass that is observable via close inspection without a lens. The only pic where you can see the critter is the last one where they are white background away from plant material.Adelgid?
