Great thread. I'll have to go take pictures of my whole collection if the rain ever stops

Dang he beat me to it! lol I was watering trees yesterday thinking should I even bother with half this crap. Should I even bother with what I've neglected the past few years as I chose to expand my garden and it's ponds instead of trying to be a bonsai artist and just start from square one? Or should I try to wire & learn with it? Prettiest make up pig at the fair kind of thing. I do want to thank @Brian Van Fleet & @Smoke for sharing theirs to show us that they are indeed mortal after all the amazing trees that you both post on here, and I mean that seriously. Reminds us we all have these but are still capable of growing in this hobby & producing tree we can be proud of sharing.

Sometimes I try and wonder through the eyes of a visitor what exactly they see when they visit and look upon my uglies...then,ponder maybe a few more might be added by another ones taste to the ugly list. Lol oh well...Husband has me on a goal to find myself another bench. He's to busy right now. So need to look up the guy who built the back patio one...will need to check out his shop soon. Just when I say no more...sell off the ugliest. I tell my husband a few I may consider getting rid of...he stands there like a deer in headlights. Then...laughs his butt off. "Babe what you need is just another bench!"

I love this thread. We have the tree thread and the fugly tree thread.

I had such high hopes for this one. I took it off the bench and sat it on the ground hoping maybe my dog would piss on it. Even he turns his nose up at it.

Hahaha. Best thread in a while!

Have you thought of jinning the straight trunk and using the lower branch only?
Yes, but only out of frustration. In reality I just want to get it fat and happy, and lately it's been neither. This is the second year after a repot, so it should be doing a little better. The bark is too good to cut down the trunk.
