Outstanding! What's this one called?
I will see if the tag is still there. I had this one probably 10 years now. Seems to like the Houston heat and reliable bloomer. The fragrant is really nice also. I still have a handful of orchids from the old day when I was into them.

The first one is Brassavola Nodosa and the second one is Brassavola hybrid. They are very reliable bloomer for me.
Thanks for your reply.
Brassavolas are usually fragrant, aren't they?
Do yours have any scent?

Woah! What is it??
It's a bulb I dug from a house in my sister's neighborhood several years ago. Some say it's a Peruvian Daylily. It's a vigorous grower and blooms best when grown in full sun. It's similar to the Cahaba Lily, a native in our part of Alabama, but that one is a shoals lily only. I have no idea where this one originated.

It looks similar to both indeed but still not sure it's either of them, Idk what it is. I really like it though! You should propagate it as much as possible..

I probably owe this thread some photos; I got some stargazer lilies with flower buds that look like they've been ready to open for weeks now, I'll get some pics of them when they finally do open.
