Thanks to Bob Pressler for putting us onto this vendor. Not only are the prices very reasonable, but the owner, Jim Gollmer, provides very good customer service. I had received a code for a 10% discount, but when I was on line to order pots, I couldn't find the field in which to enter the code. Thinking it might come up later in the ordering process, I continued, and was not able to enter the code before the order was completed without the discount. I emailed Jim, and he immediately phoned me back, canceled that order, and walked me through the reorder, explaining where to find the field for the discount (it was obvious, I had just overlooked it.)

The pots were delivered today, were as pictured and described, and in good condition. Each of three pots was boxed individually, and the three boxes pocked in a larger box surrounded by packing popcorn.

I bought some stainless cutters from him at half the price of comparable products. Very good quality. I have emailed back and forth with him and the customer service was great. Look forward to buying from him again in the future.

I am new to bonsai and have called and talked with the owner Jim and he has been very helpful. I sent him some photos of my trees and he recommended some pot styles that would work. Really nice individual and huge selection of products. I am using his soil mix now and the trees really seem to like it

Digging up an old thread, but didn't want to start a new one with this one already here.

They've got FREE shipping on akadama and Ryusen soils. For an East coast resident that's a pretty good deal.

Anyone ever order dirt across the US from them? Ima give them a buzz tomorrow while their open but I thought I'd ask the peanut gallery what their experience is on the matter.

I'm expecting alot of dust from shipping, I just hope the "flat rate" boxes don't bust open.

Hokay, good talk.

I called and chatted with Jim for a few minutes. He was more than helpfull with my questions and even offered an online coupon code for an extra 10% off my order. What a nice guy!

I placed an order that Friday 05/12/17 and it was out the door on Monday 05/15/17 and at muy door today 05/17/17. The box looked like it had seen better days, but for traveling cross country by USPS I'm a little surprised they got it to my door in one piece, and on time.

Very glad I choose to order with Jim @bonsaivison. Hope this helps someone looking to do business with them

I've ordered a pot or two from them in the past.

I didn't feel the prices were outrageous.
They carry all kinds of pots and some expensive tokonoma pots.

But tokonoma pots are expensive, no matter where you get them.

Yes depending on the artist and the kiln, Tokoname pots can be expensive, but it also depends where you buy them. :)

I wonder how their akadama compares to Red Line?
