I have 19 of these buggers to do so I may as well start a thread and we can see how they do.

#1 is a Barbra Karst. Not a bad little fella I'll measure later looks .5 inch

I neglected to take a before pic however this was in a 5 gal can and one of the group that was blooming on the flowers thread.

So this is after major root work and a haircut and it is now in a cut down 1 gallon. The last one it has been defoliated and will hang out in the shade until it pushes leaves.20170714_170122.jpg 20170714_165506.jpg 20170714_165547.jpg

#2 is a Royal Purple.

Both look happy and healthy. I noticed in the first and second pictures of the Royal Purple there looks to be a mix of dark and light foliage. I mention it because after dosing mine a few days back with GroTek many of the leafs on it that were all light green turned deep green in a few hours. I also noticed the Humic Acid in one photo and wondered if that is your experience as well.
They look fine and robust just thought it was odd when the color change happened so quickly.

Yes, that's exactly right. Unfortunately a mix of being out of town and having more to do than I need, I missed them getting a bit yellow. On the mend now!

I find it really interesting that some of the best like @Walter Pall state that under fertilizing is the most common problem. The proof to me is what I see here AND there over 3000 miles away, in total different climates.

Good growing!

Yea these will get another big cut back after I see how low the leaves pop. Kanye's hobbit up there came in at 1.6" at the smallest and 2.7" at the lovely lady lump.
