I have only carbon and I've had them about 5 years. My root hooks are stainless.
I want a roll bag to put them in.

Masakuni told me personally that his "silver" tools are actually Nickel coated, not stainless steel....
Here are my nickel plated steel shears, are they Kikuwa? Does anyone know for sure?

A wire cutter/plier.
Your "net bonsai wanker" or Japanese pliers don't have that notch to hold the wire do they?
Yeah the cutter is broke...still works.
Gotta Tighten the screw on the scissors.

Ha ha! Just realized what your new avatar is. At first glance, I thought it was a tiki.
If you can grip the wire firmly, and spin the pliers around in your hand, they would work just fine.
