With the other juniper came this one as well

Not sure what style to go with but ill figure something out i guess... any ideas and sugestions from you bnuts are more than welcome !

some nice deadwood features for sure and it is in need of a repot first so after that enough time to look at it to decide what to do next .

Looks pretty wild for a communist juniper....., was that one growing inside the Berlin wall?
Haha! Just playing!
Looks like you have your work cut out for you there. I'm interested to see where you take it.

I kind of like it the way it sits in the first pic. When it gets health, hopefully by next year, you could start bending down the upper branches and basically style it. I would keep the first right branch and maybe just chase the foliage back a little bit. I think it could be a really nice tree some day.

Imagining that base cleaned up says not a literate...

Just a tall sleek wicked traditional ish...
Tree....

I'm not really into bending trunks, I like using them how they are.
That greatly effects my decisions.

Potted and cleaned up the dead parts a bit
Still some bad parts left but i ran outa time yesterday
I realy like it, it looks like there is only one living vein left on the tree only spotted mites cus the ants crawl over the tree

I'll oppose... I like different parts of this tree, would go for a more compact twin trunk. Not saying using the front I upploaded, and I don't know how playable the trunks still are.

That option also crossed my mind it might look more balanced that way but first it needs to recover and then well see what to do next :)

After my deadwood work i lost a branch and ive had an mite infestation on the tree so it had a tough season but it pushed some fresh foliage and looks like its recovering
Maybe next year another recovery year cus i dont want to kill it lol

If anyone has styling sugestions please share!

The cardinal principle in bonsai design is 'compact it'.
Next is to answer the question of what is the main feature of the tree. Then you arrange the foliage to frame this feature.

My interpretation is that the deadwood work you just did is what you want to feature. So you want to bend those stems to position the foliage is a nice scalene triangle, down close to and/or around that deadwood.

[nothing to this stuff ;)]

actualy all the deadwood was already there i just cleaned up the rotten wood and worked some detail into it with my dremel but killed the one live vein connected to the branch that died in the procces :(

So if i get you right my two branches still alive are to leggy for a design and will either need some serious bending or foliage grafted on lower on the trunkline?

Yeah cool Dennis! Looking good, ans the inspiration pics too!
I think your eye is right, there must a bunch of curls and loopings in there. Either that or he's been developing and pushing back tighter foliage for a decade.
