Moringa tree aka miracal tree.

Well it got down in the 20's and this tree shut down completely. I've been told you can cut it off at the ground when winter arrives and it will grow about 16 feet the next year. So I harvested the leaves and it makes great tea that is very good for you. Tastes really good.

These trees grow so fast I decided to play around with them in a pot. Not sure on what I will end up doing but will be fun to practice. I may use a razor blade and split the trunk length wise and then see if I can twist it???

What has become of the original tree?
I replaced it with a different tree. The way it works in Dallas is it will grow 10 feet or so and then late fall you cut it off at the soil line. Dry the leaves to use. Then in the spring it starts again. I didn't know that at the time.

The Moringa plant makes seed pods like a bean. It's popular in the south Indian cooking I think. They use it in a dish, I believe called sambar or curry. @Anthony, you know more?
It unreal what uses this tree has. I did make some tea last year and it was good.
Eight days of growth from first to second picture. This is a fun project. I also didn't know the little cup at the bottom of the pot needed to be removed for drainage. All the foliage died. I went to pick up the pot and it was full of water. I thought it was like a drip tray
