Collected this Virginia creeper by ripping out of the sand when the fam went to the beach in 2014. Planted it in the garden and forgot about it till now.

here it is in 2014

Repotted it last night - and I forgot to take a pic of it in the pot - I'm getting really good at this :) I will snap a pic tonight.

Very cool! I only see ugly fused ones to native trees here...or to posts and have no interesting details to collect. I do have th one I bought when looking for a blue pot off of eBay. No one even bid against me. Lol got it for a steal. It's still dormant here. Repotted last year. So leaving it be this year.

Fused ones sound interesting?

No, you don't understand my meaning...it's attached to a huge native tree. With feeler roots...very ugly...
You don't want that part anyway. Find where it goes into the ground and excavate around it. That's where the gold is. You may have to cut the clinging roots off on each side of the vine a foot up from the base but it will be fine.

Honestly...one creeper is enough for me. I give you all credit with those dealing with more of those crazy weeds.

The title of thread makes me recall the "startled" Negan after he exclaims, "Holy crap!" to the Episcopal priest, Rev. Gabriel of The Walking Dead. (No spoilers, I promise.)
